Origin

The Coffee Yard is Norman Mukuru's operation in the foothills of Mount Elgon, sourcing cherry from the districts of Sironko, Mbale, Bulambuli and Kapchorwa. Norman has worked in coffee for close to 20 years and has been producing naturals since 2018, refining his fermentation process each season to chase brighter, more expressive fruit profiles.
The Coffee Yard is a newer commercial partner to The Coffee Gardens, built on a long-standing relationship between the two.
