Caficauca (Cooperativa de Caficultores del Cauca) was founded in 1961 to give growers fair, easy access to market. It now represents over 3,000 associates farming an average of 1.6 hectares each.
This lot is selected by Siruma from an average of 85 growers, drawn from Piendamó, Cajibío and Morales. The area is known as the Tabletop of Cauca for its fertile volcanic land and strong coffee economy, built up despite decades of armed conflict in the region.
